Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of callbk.me (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

callbk.me is a scheduled callback service. You schedule an event — a payload, a fire time, and a timing precision — and we hold it until it is due, then deliver it to a destination you configure and track it to completion with automatic retries. You do not need to run your own cron jobs or timers.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate account information and promptly update it if it changes. You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

3. Profiles and Delivery Destinations

A profile is a reusable delivery destination that your events reference by name. Supported delivery targets today are Amazon SNS topics and Amazon SQS queues (including cross-region queues). Webhook (HTTPS) delivery is coming soon.

You are responsible for configuring valid destinations and granting the Service permission to deliver to them. For SQS targets you must supply a queue URL (not an ARN), and for cross-account queues the target queue policy must allow the Service's execution role to send messages. You are responsible for the content of the payloads you schedule and for ensuring you have the right to send them to your chosen destination.

4. Delivery, Retries, and Automatic Profile Disabling

Timing precision is best-effort within the tier you select. Flexible delivery lands around the requested time, Scheduled delivery lands within part of the requested interval, and Precise per-event timing is coming soon. We do not guarantee exact delivery times.

If a callback cannot be delivered, it is retried a limited number of times. If it still fails, the event is marked failed and the owning profile is automatically disabled, so the Service stops attempting delivery to a destination that has already proven broken. While a profile is disabled, events naming it are not held or paused — they continue to be processed as they come due, but are marked failed immediately (rather than retried against the broken destination). Re-enabling a disabled profile is a manual action you perform; nothing re-enables it automatically.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to send unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious content, to deliver to destinations you do not own or control without authorization, to send spam or unsolicited messages, or to interfere with or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

6. Plans, Credits, and Billing

Usage is measured in credits. A free tier is included each month, and each successfully delivered event consumes credits according to its timing tier (tighter timing consumes more). Only events delivered successfully are billable; failed deliveries do not consume your allowance. Pricing details are described on our Pricing page and may change as the Service evolves.

7. Availability and Changes

The Service is provided on an ongoing basis, but we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every scheduled callback will be delivered.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, callbk.me will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to the Service or others.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and handle your information.
